Creating a Passion for Learning, Shaping Lives

Hello everyone!

Posted by learnkit on February 12, 2010

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to be the first to use our new Blog!

A couple of newsy items – Have a look at our DRP course, it is the first time we have run this programme for several years and it is now available through distance learning so you don’t even have to attend our centre!

We know Matthew Green won’t be happy with this as he loves coming to Learn-Kit and is absolutely gutted to have completed his NVQ level 3 in Dental Nursing. (Well done, Matthew by the way. We will miss you too).

I would also like to say a big thank-you to our Senior Tutor, Karen Patel, who is working really hard on an up-date of our Open Learning Course for Dental Nurses and our Moodle. She is not speaking to me at the moment as she is too busy (and grumpy with all the extra work), so this is a good opportunity to say “Hi Karen. You are doing a great job, are wonderful etc etc”. Have I done enough grovelling?

I hope you will all enjoy using the Blog, up-date us with your news and use it to share learning experiences.

Happy Valentine’s Day for Sunday!

Best Wishes

Did everyone turn out their lights for Earth Hour on Saturday?

As I am sure you are all aware, taking part in Earth Hour is part of our environmental/sustainability policy. Well done to everyone who remembered and took part and thanks to those who bought a raffle ticket. We will be drawing the raffle within the next few weeks, so be lucky!

    Happy Easter folks!
